I had my first daughter when I was 18 and my second when I was 19. I don't regret having my kids. I will admit that it is harder when you have children when you arent ready. Neither of my girls were planned. I was on birth control with both but my fiance seems to have very potent sperm. I had hard pregnancies with both because I was too young. With my oldest, I had toxemia, gained 100 pounds because of it, and was also put on bedrest for 4 months. I gave birth to her after I was 6 days overdue. Labor with her lasted 36 hours being induced with pitocin. With my second, I had placenta previa and was on bedrest for 6 months. I found out that I was having a threatened miscarriage because I started bleeding really bad. Thats also when I found out about the placenta previa. I ended up being on bedrest with her for 6 months. She was our miracle baby. I not only nearly lost her a few times when I was pregnant, I also almost lost her during delivery. She was 5 days overdue and I had to be induced. I was induced with pitocin and cytotec. Cytotc is the same drugs used in abortions but I didnt know it at the time. After nearly 24 hours of labor, her heartrate dropped dramatically. Thank gon I was completely dilated because if I wasn't they would have had to do an emergency c-section or I might have lost her. It took 10 minutes of pushing until I got to eventually hold her. I thank god everyday for the two beautiful daughters I have. If I had to go back and do everything over again, I wouldnt change it for the world.

I had my first at 16. I am now 30 and have 4 kids, ages 13, 8, 5 and 3

I was 18 when I had my son, married his father the following year and I will graduate with an associates degree next summer. even if you have children when your young your life doesn't end, it just gets a little bit tougher

I got married at nineteen and my son was born just ten days shy of 9 months later. He's now 13 months and I'm pregnant again. I couldn't be happier!

i got preg at 15 and had my son 3 weeks aftermy 6th birthday he was a mth and a half early. i'm now 19 and he is 3 and i wouldn't changeit for the world... i lovehim very much but i do wish i would of been able to enjoy my teen years....
