Advantages and Disadvantages?

For a project I am doing, what are some advantages and disadvantages of buying a new or old car? Price and maintenance have already been thought of, thank you.

* lower insurance (generally) on a used car
* new car allows you to select the exact color and features
* warranty with a new car
* new cars you can buy at your leisure from any dealer
