Kids at this age do not see people as adults do, they do not see race, color, nor fear, all the factors that have corrupted most adults into picking and choosing friends.. thus explains the violence in the world today

I think that since kids don't feel free to talk to adults about thing that they are curios about, they instead go to kids their age, who are curios about the same things.

because they are all kids versus having to deal with grown ups all the time who tell them what to do and not to do
