The vast majority of Russians are very approachable people, and are happy to talk to you. But if you're going to be giving them attitude thinking they're all somehow mafia, don't bother. That idea is so completely unfounded, and I hope that's not what you meant either.
If it should come up though (beyond unlikely), yeah I guess it might be a good idea to avoid the mafia :-) nothing you should worry about.

If you think that all Russian people are bad and members of the mafia,which is a ridiculous statement,then just avoid them!!

I wonder where you got it in your head that all Russians are in the mafia? That would be like saying that all Italians are in the mafia because of all the mafia movies/tv shows.

you can talk to as many russians as you like...the women would probabily love it...but id say avoid the mafia because maybe the woman you are talking to has a bro in the mafia that may blow your head off....well maybe..

This is as bad as thinking every person of Italian heritage is in the mafia.
Just so you know, Not every person of Italian or Russian heritage has mob connections.
That's like saying every Southerner is in the KKK.

I'm willing to bet most Russians would appreciate it greatly if you stayed away from them.... but not because of your reasoning...
