I used to have such a big fear of shots and needles. I have had so many surgeries on my nose. At least 9 or 10. I was in a car accident when I was 5. My biggest fear started probably when I was around 7 years old. That is when I remember having the most shots. It used to take 6 nurses to hold me down to give me shots in my nose. It was real painful. I grew up hating them until after I finished high school. I still don't like them but have gotten over the fear of them. It took me many years to get over it.

As a young girl I was very afraid of needles..I later had a job drawing blood..and now I am a nurse..I do appreciate people who know what they are doing and the most important thing is now a days the needles are very sharp and thin and you most often don't even feel the stick...I have been stuck several times for IV starts and I have been frustrated when they have had difficulty starting my IV..be patient and trust the person who is sticking you but you do have the right to refuse to be stuck or ask someone else to attempt the stick.

once you have had a bone marrow shot i think everybod would be scared of shots. i had two bone marrow shots on friday and that hurt like hell. thats where they stab a needle into your bone and take liquid out. it is soo gross and you bleed alot because the needle is in for a long time.OUCH!

Yes and no. I have a fear of the pain that it can cause. I have small veins so doctors end to have to stick me a couple times (especially with getting blood drawn) and that causes me to bruise. But not of the actual items, just of the feeling of uncomfortably.

Yes, I do(and I had real"butchers" try to draw blood >< ) but you need to get shots occasionally, so you just got to go and do it. One day, when I have the funds, I plan to get a tatoo,even though I heard it hurts alot 0_0 but I lost a friend, and I feel it would be a great way to honor him.

YES,I hate them,when I got my 12 year old shot she was going in to give it to me and I punched,now she hates me!!
I hate them because they are sharp and I don't like shots!!!!!!!
