I think it is bad in any relationship for two people to not take enough time to really get to know each other and understand each others backgrounds and who they really are and what they really desire and need in a partner. So many times we get so caught up in the good sex and the fun times that we are tricked into thinking that we have good relationships. I think that if you two understand each other and really have a good bond mentally that the sex before marriage won't make a difference unless you want to do things the godly way and wait.

It really depends on their beliefs and moral standards. Personally, I prefer sex before marriage because what if you find out that you are not sexually compatible. I realize that sex is not the only reason to get married but it is a very important part of it. Can you imagine being married to someone who doesn't like sex, or at least as much as you do. She may as well be your best friend because this is the only thing the two of you do not share with your best friend. The lack of sex or being sexually incompatible with your wife will have a huge impact on the success of your marriage and often will lead to affairs, so yes, I think it is a good idea to have sex before marriage.
