At first the dr thought I had a cyatic nerve problem. I have been tested for ms and test were negative. My gait has changed dramatically. It requires alot of energy just to walk. I don't like going to the mall etc. However, I can ride a stationary bike, run in place, jump on a excercise trampoline. I have trouble with my balance. I sometimes have pain (tolerable) in my lower back.

A EEG shows brain waves..I would get a second opinion because it doesn't make any sense about your ability to jump, run in place..also concerns about your back pain..so good luck and see another physician.

You could start with a neurologist to rule out neurological causes. If he/she does, it's off to an orthopedic doctor. If they can't find cause, they will refer you to next option. Good luck.
