Actually The Christian God and the Islamic God are the same entity
as both religions come originally from the same sources. Abraham and all. Jesus never intended to start a religion at all.

Becuase in the Bible it states that there will be false prophets toward the end days, but I really don't see this trend lasting to long as far as being the fastest growing religion, they keep blowing themselves up, and have even difiled their god Alah by, taking their acts into the places of worship. My God doesn't support that type of self sacrifice. Islamic fanatics are not only killing inocent people, but they are killing their own kind. Proclaimed Christians are not perfect either (we truely do try though), but we all need to realize that peace and love are not gained through explosives and bullets, it is realized through the act of showing peace and love. The best ammuntion for that is through the word of the best teacher I know in that area and that is my LORD JESUS CHRIST! His words are in the Bible, by the way. As far as inspiring His missionaries, every true missionary I have met, didn't need anymore inspiration, that is why they were missionaries and they had to read the word to teach the word. Inspiration is found in the word. No he doesn't what his creations to go to hell. That is your individual choosing, and He does not what to force people to believe in Him and be Christians, for the same reasons that are troubling the Islamic faith today. I sure don't want Christians to start blowing themselves up, in the hopes of getting to heaven early and getting 10 virgins. Oh! I'm sorry, We don't believe in that. The plan is very simple: Read and meditate on the words in the Bible,
READ+BELIEVE+LOVE ONE ANOTHER=WORLD PEACE!

Why is it OK to bash Christianity but everyone must be tolerant of every other religion. Why does are public schools promote Islam and other religions but prohibit Christianity. Why are Christian symbols that have been displayed since Christianity first got here now being removed.God gave each person a free will. You have a free will to bash Christianity or someday ask Jesus to forgive you.Jesus said go into all the world and preach the Gospel.Christians can heed the call or use their free will to ignore it.

A person's religious preference is their own choice and is dependent on their own personal relationship with God (or lack thereof). God allows man to find his/her own way and does not force any person to believe in any specific religion, just as God does not force humankind to be good, honest, fair, unselfish, or spiritual. Man has to find his/her own path.
Also, Islam is not the fastest growing religion today. Statistics show that the Baha'i Faith is growing faster than all the other major religions and has spread to all corners of the earth. This in spite of the fact that they are being killed, imprisoned, tortured, prevented from practicing their religion, denied schooling and employment in some Islamic countries, especially Iran, all in the name of religious persecution..
I make this statement in terms of one religion without sects or denominations. What people call Christianity is made up of hundreds of sects and the only thing they share in common is a belief in Jesus and the bible. Even then, they can not agree on the nature of Jesus, nor on which translated Bible to use. They also can not agree on the contents of the Bible.
Islam too has sects and divisions, each with it's own brand of Islam.
There are no sects or denominations of any religion that are growing as rapidly as the Baha'i Faith.

In the Bible, we can see at Matthew 6:13, 14 that Jesus told his followers that the road leading off into eternal life is cramped and the gate to it is narrow. Therefore, it stands to reason that the ones finding and following it would be few compared to the ones who are following the broad and spacious road that leads to destruction. Also, it's important to note that the only reason Jesus was here on earth to begin with is because of Adam's sin in the Garden of Eden. This made it necessary for God to provide a ransom in exchange for the perfect life Adam gave up when he sinned. He did this by providing a Messiah as our Redeemer, his beloved Son, Jesus Christ.
Each person must come to a realization of what he needs to do in order to possibly gain everlasting life. One of the most important aspects of this is that we all have free will in how we choose to live our lives. At Proverbs 27:11, we can see that God gives us the opportunity to be a part of the response that He gives to Satan the Devil. Jesus wouldn't try to 'make people believe in Christianity a bit more' because he's aware that we all need to make our own choice as to what's right in determining how we want to serve our Heavenly Father. However, we should do so according to accurate knowledge. That accurate knowledge is contained in the Bible. Jesus made his choice - he was faithful to his Father to the end of his earthly life. He encouraged us to do the same.
(Special Note: By the way, you should research this information for yourself and also information regarding "Hell". You may be very surprised to find out that there is no such place as a burning hell where sinners go to suffer eternal punishment.)

The God of Judah gives people the freewill to choose. He does not force(despite that some Christians try to force) belief on anyone. Also it is the job of Christians to show the love and merci of the God of Judah, which they are not doing so well on a whole. Islam seems to view Alah as powerful and imposing. They say he is a God of merci, but they sure don't practice their religion that way. The God of Judah is a God of freewill.

I don't believe your premise that Islam is the fastest growing religion. I believe that Mormonism is growing faster than Islam. Even without growth, there are twice as many Christians as Muslims, so your numbers argument fades there, too.
I also reject your premise that the popularity of something makes it better. One need only listen to pop music to see the level of crap that the people accept as good.

First off it is the Christian God. You capatalize the G in refrence to God. Also who cares what the fatest growing one is. That would be like I have 1 billion followers but can't get any more. You get two after I am done and now you are the fastest growing one.

You:
A) confuse omnipotence with desire.
B) wrongly assume He is doing nothing. You don't have a clue what He's doing.
C) forget that Christians grew up and quit converting by the sword quite awhile ago. Muslims are still into that method. Gets the numbers up, but I wouldn't give a brass farthing for the faith of those so converted.

where have you been?
Last I saw, Christianity was growing fast.
Of course there is gonna be competition for souls though.
The Islamic god, Allah, right? is not really the same as Jehovah I don't think.
The stories share similarity, but there is a line once you get to Jesus and Muhammad.
