As long as it is honest work I don't care. Nice thing about those blue collar guys though is their strength, yummy.
Intellectuals can be fun, but it is not as passionate and playful in my personal opinion. I am an intellectual with a blue collar, and he is wonderful. He looks so much sexier than all the other pale faced smart guys at the parties. He cares for me in a primitive genuine level, and I am so secure in this relationship. I truly like manual guys better than the brainy ones.

Why should it bother me? There must be something about the young man that attracts you. Or are you more worried about what your class mates think about an "uneducated" boy friend? If so, then you don't deserve him. Date one of those snobs you go to class with.

It didn't bother me, but I think it bothered him, and things didn't work out cause he had to deal with his self esteem and control issues. It's nice to have similar experiences cause then you can relate, but it's not crucial to a successful relationship. And whether he's been to univeristy certainly should not be a yardstick.

If it bothers you then you probably shouldn't be dating him. After all he deserves to be with someone who loves, respects and accepts him for who and what he is. If you can't do this, then you're not doing him any favors. I say as long as he's not doing anything illegal, then it's ok.

Wouldn't bother me, it's nice when a man has a decent work ethic.

God, I hope not. Because that's what I do.

I'm more than capable of going to college, but it's just not for me. I've gotten shot down for that several times, and it sucks.

College isn't for everyone, and if he's not in school, at least he's actually working and not being a bum mooching off of you.
