I was talking with a guy for about 1 month and he saw that I was not going to allow him to be with me and another female too. So he decided to call it off with me, because I wanted him to be commited to me and only me. I mean what is so wrong with that?

He's just not mature enough for a real relationship. Don't worry about it, you're better off without him anyway.

Nothing is wrong with you drawing a line about what you find acceptable, or unacceptable in a relationship. It's the only way that you will hook up with some one compatible. That being said, he should also be allowed to express what he wants in a relationship. It doesn't necessarily make him wrong, it just makes him not "the one".

You should also bear in mind that men are hardwired to pursue as many partners as possible. I'm not saying that men are incapable of being committed, but it does mean that being in a committed relationship is an unnatural state that takes a conscious effort to maintain. Some guys are not ready or able to take that on.

Good for you. Not all men are like that though. I was committed to only my wife the whole 13 years that we were married. Just keep looking I guess, and you should find a one woman man.

Nothing is wrong with what you did. I applaud you. You have balls. (Not genitals). You both want different things and it's good that this happened now instead of later. Don't put up with that open relationship sh!t. Go find a REAL man (good luck with that, too) who can handle being with one real woman!
And then call Guiness book of World Records so they can show the world it exists.

It is inborn in Mans nature to want more than one woman. And our ancient ancestor like Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob(Israel) all had several wives. This is because typically throughout history men live longer than their female counterparts. I personally would like just one good strong woman. Unless I could have several that understood the benefits of polygamy, but most modern females have too much pride to allow "their" man to be wit other females.

There is a lot of generalizing of men on this web-site.

"Why can't men be committed to one women?"

"Men see women as objects"

WTF? Not all men are the same. How would you feel if some man came on here and asked why all women were sluts?

Hi Sexy!

You were right for standing up for yourself! Only a jerk would play such games.

In my opinion, a strong woman is "Sexy" and the guy too blind to see that isn't worth the time or energy.

You go girl!

Why do 93% of women leave their husbands and go to a richer lover [the government]. And what is prostitution anyways? Or is God just wrong?
