My favorite book is the Acts. I like all the beginning of the church things and Paul and Barnabas and the relationships they build with all of these people. The book after that is 1 Corinthians I think :-P

I've always been fond of Deuteronomy. If ever there was proof that God is a right, proper bastard it's in Deuteronomy. God helps murder lots of folks (including children), and all the supposedly righteous men turn out to be rapists with his blessing. It even contains rape laws stating that rape victims should either be stoned to death or marry their attackers, depending on the circumstances.
And to think that Jesus supported Old Testament law. Like father, like son.
After Deuteronomy comes Joshua. More death and destruction. Now we get to see more of God the Baby-Killer, but thankfully it seems his libido has been satisfied by all the raping in Deuteronomy. Instead, the reader is treated to sanctioned animal cruelty to supplement the murder of 3/4 of a million people.
It amazes me that people want to ban The Da Vinci Code, but read this garbage to their kids at Sunday School.

I like the Book of Enoch, which was banned from the Christian Bible but is featured in the Quran. I like Matthew as well.

MY favorite is the book of JOB.
That's the book that clearly exposes the hypocracy of the bible....
That's the book that shows that God and Satan love to place bets and play games with us.
(God wins the bet.....duh!)
