It would be considered discrimation in America. Is it your religion that requires you to wear a scarf? You mentioned it covers your entire head, does it cover your face as well?

Depends. Some do some don't. Some banks have a uniform dresscode that provides for headware.

But this is India, the counrty that 'invented' personal freedom. Cast of your caste! Make your own salt!! Wear it with pride!!!

Why wear the head scarf after all God gave your hair as a covering.
1co 11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
1co 11:15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

what is your nationality? is there a problem if you will not wear a head scarf with your religion? if no. then you have to sacrifice it for the sake of your job.

because if you will be working with them, you have to subject yourself to their rules and regulations.

this is not a question of discrimination. it is just a question of following rules and regulations.
