Yes, especially if they acknowledge the fact and make it well known of what religion they are. And then to turn around and do something that is out of character for that religion. That is just being a hypocrite.

Yes, but since I am as guilty as the nest guy in setting bad example... I am not going to be the one to cast the first stone. I will however go to the offender and try to resolve the problem accourding to the way proscribed in God's Word.

Yes, it bothers me, because, I know that some people judge the whole religion by the actions of a few individuals. This is true for every religion I have ever seen.

It makes me sad yes, because it seems like people focus more on the bad example than the good ones.

Nope, at least not for that reason.
I'd hate to see a murdere anytime, if he shared my convictions that would be a very bad example. I'd visit him in jail if they would catch the ******* alive.

first of all. Miss Toogoody.
Share YOUR faith? ... I pass.
How can "someone else", reflect on YOU?
My friend. You are in real need to learn The Gospel.
There is a good part in Romans:. It says something about. "Giving account of OURSELVES". You should check this out.
I mean, I understand where some of these Yahoochristians can get confused with OURSELVES & EVERYONE-ELSE.
I mean, They sound so much alike. It is mind boggeling.

The ego gets 'bothered' so next time you're bothered ask God to shine Light into all your darkest corners. This will make you more transparent and develop you towards bearing spiritually mature fruit; free of egoic reactions (what it means to be humble). Blessings.

It doesn't bother me so much when someone demonstrates it "incorrectly", what bothers me is when others that see that demonstration assume that everyone is the same because of it. And that isn't only limited to religion.

In all honesty, yes it does.
But I try to remember that there may have been a time in my Christian walk that I also embarrassed someone.
We all have to grow and we must realize that we are not all at the same place in that walk.
