LoL because that the type of people they are, there no better then the rich taking from the poor. They want people for all walks of life to respect them, but they don't give any respect back,Instead of giving respect they criticize other peoples religion and judge others like they are god.

Christians are losing the battle and they will soon lose the war.

It seems like you have a serious hate for christians according to your screen name and recent list of posts, why do you feel so oppressed by christians?

Is your question a serious question? Or are you just trying to rally people behind you in hating christians?

You say christians demand respect, but give none in return, do you think it is respectful to claim thats how all christians are, and all christians give double standards?

Its true, some christians do make big claims and force their beliefs on people, but not all of them.

Look at our rolls as people right now, im trying to protect the name of christians and your trying to defame it. It is extremley hard for me to fight off claims and discriminations, but look how easy it is for you to try and defame, all you have to do is say "christians are stupid huh?" and you will get dozens of people saying " Yeah LOL they are rhetardz"

To answer your question, if it is a serious one.
Not all christians are that way, Im a christian and I respect people while still upholding my beliefs. I have never told anyone to "go to hell" because they "are a sinner

I don't know of any Christians who "demand" respect, but I know a whole lot of us who do respect others. Perhaps you experienced the one exception to the standard or ran into someone who was having a bad day. Usually the respect issue is the other way around. One group wants to have their ideas "resepected" while trampling on Christianity, calling it freedom of expression... or art... or any other excuse.

I've noticed that those who base their beliefs on faith are very fair. They accept that their religion is what feels right for them, and respect any other possibilities as a simple disagreement.

However, there are several who base their beliefs on ignorance (sometimes it seems the majority of Christians). THESE are the ones who offer no respect back, and fail to answer questions with any thought whatsoever. These are the ones who blame opinions they disagree with on Satan. They assume any information they've heard that they like is factual, and that few if any aspects of their religion can be in error.

Faith I respect, and it respects me back. Ignorance I can't stand.

i'm a christian, but i agree with you. if christians cannot practice what they preach then they should say anything at all... i find that fact really annoying, and i also think that if someone is a true christian then they will live as christ did. jesus respected everyone AND he didnt even demand respect. If people say that they are a christian they better live up to what that really means, or else dont say anything at all.

You shouldn't sterotype. Not all people are the same. Not all people are hypocrits... which means that not all Christians are hypocrits. I believe that if I give respect that I should get it in return. Are you being respectful of people... or christians since that is what you are asking about?

I am a Christian pastor and I don't believe in demanding respect.
Respect is some thing that is earned over time, just like trust.

It's not a double standard to them. All they have to do to appease themselves is say they asked for forgiveness while causing havoc on other people.

Whenever you ask them that or tell them about the countless other "Christians" who act horribly, the mantra is "that is not a REAL Christian." Apparently, I haven't met one REAL one yet.

A christian should show respect to others. I am a christian & I believe in this. Thats what
the "Golden Rule" means. I also think non-christians should show respect to believers & not criticize them or make fun.

The Christians you have met are not true believers in Christ if they act that way.
We are taught to give all we have and take nothing in return, those who don't obey the law, shall be punished in the end. God bless their souls.
