The Barrett is a .50 Cal. sniper rifle. It has the capability to pierce light to moderate armored vehicles.

Wow you get all kinds in here. Barrett is a rifle manufacturer. The most common Barret is yes the M81A2 a .50 cal Sniper rifle capable of peircing most armor including light vehicles. Also useful against Helicopters if you know where to aim. Effective range is over 2000m or almost a mile if you don't feel like converting it. They also sell a civilian version of the weapon it lists for about 7700 dollars.
