How old is she? Has she come to realize that physics and maths are essential to be an astronaut? May be she is taking them for granted. Try taking her to a psychologist who works on Carreer Interests.. ;) Good luck.

I'm an engineer, and I hate math. But I am quite good at it. (I dolove physics, though!)
You can't just "be" an astronaut, there really needs to be a lot of science background behind it. She's going to have to dig into science and math studies in order to make it. She's got a long road ahead of her, as this is not an easy career path. There aren't a lot of opportunities, and not only will she have to be the top of her class, NASA will need to take notice of her. You don't just apply and get in as an astronaut... You never know, once she digs into the different math topics, she might find that she does love it.
But she needs to be open to other career paths as well... wanting to grow up to be an astronaut has similar mathematical probability as wanting to be a pro-athlete. And actually, the probability is much lower... (although she could have one of other roles supporting space missions, such as the engineers who design and manufacture components for space flight!!)

Well, then she's screwed you need to convince her to like it I think to be an astronaut you have to major in Mathematics and Physics and I think History.

Most astronauts have degrees in engineering or other disciplines that require math and physics. Even biologists need a fair background in math.
