Tea tree oil and vaseline. Though not necessarily together. I would get tea tree oil (pure, not diluted with anything) and mix a few drops in with aloe vera (again, pure, and not mixed in with anything) and then rub it in well, and then layer it with vaseline. Then cover it with a bandage until it heals.
p.s. This is my favorite way to deal with any skin problem. I recently did this when I got a *horrible* sunburn on the fronts of my legs, so badly that I couldn't bend them or even let clothing touch them. It's also a good way to deal with itchy skin. And it works really well with cuts and scrapes, too. I even use it on my face (though then not usually with Vaseline). Will probably always be my favorite home treatment...

Right now, you can apply cold compresses to it, and that should help. Once the scab starts to come off, you might try applying vitamin E to it. That has been supported as a means of eliminating scarring.

After a motorcycle accident, my brother used Watkins Petro-Carbo salve. It has a topical anaesthetic in it that helps for pain and helps to clean the wound as well. It was the only thing that worked on his road rash.

the best thing to do, peroxide it. then put neosporine on it, they have a kinda that reduces the chance of scarring. and cover it, and do it for a few days. let it air out at night, chance when nothing can rub it.

Go to the store and buy a bottle of Witch hazel astringent. Use a little of it a few times a day then rinse with water. Don't get it in your eyes.

keep it clean...use peroxide, it doesnt sting. and aplly neosporin at least 3 times a day...it helps with any pain and scarring too
o and if its bleeding you need to keep it covered when you sleep, but during the day try to keep it open otherwise it will take longer to dry out...which is what you want. air helps it to scab over.

Keep neosporin on it. If you have to use a liquid bandage....they kind of sting but it will keep your scrape sealed and won't let bacteria or anythin like chlorine get in it!

If its really bad, then you might want to go to the hospital to have it looked at, and to make sure its not infected.
