Because the are entwinded with to many innocent muslims. It is the terrorist who attack innocent people on purpose. Saddam was not an innocent person.

They were coming after us long before the war on terror. They were coming after us leading up to 9/11 and our govenment knew it was a matter of time until this all came to a head.

I think the Target is not well defined, this should be a war on Islam not a War on Terror. Many people will think its rediculus, but once apon a time we held a war on Mormonism. Change your religion or convert we said with guns. So they stoped marrying multiple thirteen year-old girls. we won

ok, i'm a Dem that does no longer trust leaving Iraq, yet i am going to objective to describe why others pick to. It has no longer some thing to do with being hateful of the Republican celebration, and that is a exceedingly conceited statement. that is about the shortcoming of lives. human beings won't be able to justify infantrymen being killed for a conflict it truly is being portrayed to accepted public as a conflict on terror at the same time as the conflict has little to do with looking and eliminating terrorists. The Democrat celebration will be so a lot more effective supportive if the warriors were out of Iraq and in Afghaninstan. there are so a lot more effective causes, yet because you've already made up your recommendations as to what we assume of, and from you rant you're not any further open to the justifications human beings experience distinct, i'm no longer going to waste anymore time explaining.

Do people who don't support the war on terror understand that radical islamist all over the world are united.. Yes, but you have to realize that radical islamist are a very small percentage of the religion of Islam. But I don't think that we really have to worry about them, I'm more worried about the travesties that our own govenment is doing to it's own people, the effects are not as pronounced as the effects of a terrorist bombing, but they will be more resounding than the memories of 9/11. Mark my words my friends.

I fully support the war on terror, but shouldn't we also start to ask ourselves WHY is there terror? Like the war on drugs, the uncontrolled use of drugs is the root cause of drug abuse, and drugs should be legalised, controlled, regulated and taxed.
OK, some of the 'terrorists' are just plain and common delinquents, but maybe, just maybe, some of them have a real reason for acting as they are. And until the world listens to what they have to say, terror will escalate, and we can't wish it away.
I think that our 'western civilization/way of life' is in a state of utter decay and, through today's technology (Internet) we are exporting this 'decadence' to the far corners of the earth. Our noble principle of 'freedom of speech' has become 'freedom to offend', and some of the things seen on porn and other sites are REALLY sick!
We seem to have become morally spineless. Do we really want our children to have easy access to all this filth? Maybe they don't.

Launching a "war on terror" is just like launching a "war on drugs". There is no real defined target, more like a concept that you're fighting. And when your enemy is an idea you can pick and choose who personifies that idea on a whim. Right now it's radical Muslims but you know, the Irish Republican Army is also pretty maligned as a terrorist group as well. So the next step is to bomb Ireland? Yeah, that'll go over well.

Yeah and your "war of terror" is exactly the reason WHY they are united. Do you understand cause and effect? what comes before and what comes after? Which one is the cause and which one is the effect? Have you heard these terms before?
Incidentally since you don't study history much, do you remember what Hitler said when he invaded Russia and Poland? "We are doing this to protect our western civilizations from Bolshevism".
Try read some books? Learn some history? Open your mind? I mean why are you so stupid? Is it in your genes? Or is it the bad nurture you got? What is it? Just tell me so we can find a cure for you.

You are saying what everyone else is afraid to say. I'm with you completely, this is bigger than just terrorists, it's fighting a group of people who want nothing less than the entire world to live by their rules and beliefs. Take a look at the wars and skirmishes around the globe, Muslims are involved in over 90% of them.
But, if you look at how they react over anything, no leader or politician is going to come out and say anything for fear they'll go on a murdering, burning rampage again. In essence, by saying nothing, we are letting them beat us into submission. However, I'll die before I live by their rules.

I happen to support the war when they bombed the towers the first time we should have done something. When they bombed the USS COLE we should have done something. We are perceived as weak we have to get tough. I don't think we had much of a choice.

I think many are not united they are common criminals who choose a "cause " to hide behind. They are losers who could not make it in the "real" world. The fact that no one is claiming "leadership" says it all.

I don't think they really understand the gravity of the situation. Perhaps they feel too sheltered and take things for granted. We have been having it easy too long. Now it's time for to make sacrifices if we have to....
