John 3:16 (NAB) FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON,SO THAT EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM MIGHT NOT PERISH BUT MIGHT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.

It isn't the John 3:16 stickers, or the fish emblems that I find disturbing. It's the way the people with them on their cars are driving. If your slogan and your actions are telling me two different things, I have to believe that your intent is to pretend to have Christian values so that I will trust you long enough to be taken advantage of (or cut off or crashed into). When was the last time you had someone making obscene hand gestures at you from a vehicle with one of those stickers?

Its the verse you must believe to become born-again. The last part says and whosoever beliveth in me shall not perish, but have everlasting life. Isnt that wonderful? At least it should make people feel hopeful. If anyone ever doubts that the spirit of the believer lives with God after our worldly life is over, its very encouraging. Im not trying to preach to you either...lol....just giving my opinion.

Some people claiming to be Christians like to choose a single verse and display it to the world. If you ask them about John 3:15 or 3:17... they probably can't tell you ANYTHING about them.

Thou shalt not display thy faith on the a$$ of thy car.

John 3:16 is the greatest gift given to sinners

Obviously you're not impressed by God's gift to you. Well, God might not be too impressed with you either. He gave you His Best, and you give Him your ignorance and laziness. Hmmm. What a trade. God Bless you.

They are pointing to the most incredible message in our world--"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him whould not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 (ESV)

Wow! I believe! I am saved! And He did it for you, too!

This is the most quoted verse in the Bible. However people tend to not know what the rest of the chapter is about.

Those that put this sticker on their cars are usually very "unloved" people and are searching desperately for sympathy, understanding and love for themselves.
