I believe God loves us all, gay or straight. I'm a catholic, and I think that small passage on the bible that says homosexuality is a sin (or something like that) is wrong. Or it could be a sin, so many things are sins and we do them anyway, who hasn't lied, or desired another man/woman's partner?. But God still loves us despite our sins. But I don't think Homesexuality is a sin. You know the Bible wasn't written by Jesus? It is just a story book. Tales about what he suppossedely said or did. There's no way to prove if he said that or not. Maybe whoever wrote that line hated Homosexuals. I believe in God's greatness, he loves us all, regardless our race, sex or sexual orientation.

God doesn't hate gays, He loves them just as much as He loves you and me and every other sinner in this world. Being gay is a sin, it's a chosen thing, and when you choose this lifestyle, you are sinning and God is ashamed of you. God loves you no matter if you're black, white, Jewish, Scottish, gay, straight, or anything. Read John 3:16 it might give you an idea that if a gay man accepts Christ then He is among those that God will have in His eternal kingdom. That is because that man ACCEPTED CHRIST, that is how you get into heaven, and God rejoices with every new christian.
Yes God does say to love our fellow man, but it says nothing about "except gays", the only thing the Bible says about gays is that it is a sin, that marriage should be between one man and one woman.

I have never heard those words ("except gays") in God's voice - only the voice of Man.

As far as I know, we are all divinely beloved children of the universe - equally loved and equally cared for. We are all here to learn something specific and of our own choosing - and you gotta figure there are some things you can only learn by being gay, right? Not just sexual, but about that kind of relationship, the specific dynamic that can go on between 2 people or in a community.

We all just need to start minding our own business. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone, right?

God does not hate gay people, He loves them. The proof of that is the cross. Jesus willingly died to pay for all sin, including homosexuality. God hates sin, including the sin of homosexuality. God hates all sin because He knows the negative deadly effect that any and all sin has on life. He wants to rescue people from sin and that is why He paid the price for sin at the cross.

I do not believe God hates anyone no matter what. But I do believe do hates the sin, not the sinner. I don't know the big deal between Catholicism and gay people...maybe their religion considers it a sin. Mine does...

SEE THE BIBLE IS SO CONTRADICTING ABOUT EVERY ISSUE TH ATS WHY PEOPLE NEED TO QUIT READING IT THE THINGS IT SAYS ARE MORE HURTFUL THAN COMFORTING WHY WOULD A LOVING GOD CREATE MAN THEN DROWNED THEM? WHY WOULD A LOVING GOD EVER HAD LET MAN KNOW EVIL IF HE LOVED US HE AS A FATHER WOULD HAVE PROTECTED US FROM THAT. WHY WOULD HE CREATE JESUS TO SUFFER SO MUCH THAT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN NECESSARY IF HE WOULD NEVER HAVE ALLOWED EVIL ON EARTH. FREE WILL HE KNEW THEN THAT THE WORLDS HATE WOULD GROW HE COULD HAVE PREVENTED ALOT OF SUFFERING AND ANY GOD THAT ALLOWS CHILD TO BE DISEASED, RAPED,TORCHERED, AND MURDERED IS NOT AND NEVER WILL BE A LOVING GOD. THE CHILDREN ARE INNOSENT HE SO CRUEL TO LET THIS HAPPEN THERE IS NO GOOD REASON

One of the most miss understood concepts is the "love of God"
To say god is a "God of Love" is true. But it is equally true that God is a God Of righteousness and of judgment and justice. Many people
want to emphasize God's attribute of love While conveniently forgetting
His other attributes. Yes, "God so loved the world that he gave His
only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish..."
But the bible also is very clear that until we(all people, not just gays)
repent of our sin and rebellion towards the God who created us,we
are under the wrath of God. But for God's other attribute of mercy,
we would all be in hell and deservedly so.

it really isn't any longer being gay that "keeps someone from heaven." that's a lack of believe which does that for all people, gay or no longer. believe is faith, they are synonymous. it really is an action, depending upon idea, sustained by ability of self belief. self belief in the single God despatched to grant salvation. So gays are merely as comfortably kept upon the acceptance of the theory of that covenant. If the covenant replaced into in accordance to no longer being gay, then we would have some thing important to communicate about! although the Bible talks about 2 varieties of human beings in this context; the righteous and the unrighteous. As in a million Corinthians 6:9, the unrighteous gained't inherit, that be conscious is left out in choose of the record by ability of pretend Christians or those who're taught their strategies. The context of the word is those outside of Christ; outside of trusting in the perfection of Christ, who're unrighteous, and they're going to be outside of the forgiveness of God. i desire you spot some thing diverse.

That's only one belief, I don't think that God hates anyone, including gay people. He might feel pity for the people on this earth who are intolerant of others, but he doesn't hate those confused individuals either.

God doesnt hate gays, if any christian tells you that he or she is misguided. supposedly some big precentage like 75% of americans claim to be christian, but only a VERY small fraction of that, are people who take their faith seriously enough to do more than just go to church one day a week and never think about their faith outside of it. It is unfortunate that the large precentage of people who casually claim to be christian make big talk like " God hates gays, God wants sinners to burn in hell, If you have an abortion you are going to hell"

The truth is God hates sin, not people, he loves everyone.
You know that verse everyone has heard John:3-16,
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

God let his ONLY son in heaven, come to earth and be tortured and killed for the sake of mankind, the same mankind who were murdering, stealing, worshipping idols, and commiting all kinds of sins. Man sacrificed animals to repent for their sins, but jesus was the purest sacrifice there was, after him all one had to do was accept jesus as your saviour and repent for your sins and you could have everlasting life in heaven.

Because there is sin on earth, there are preversions of how God wanted things to go. The way people talk and act, the way people view sex, the way families are run. Homosexuality is a resualt of sin, like all of the other preversions, and like all of the others, it requires repentance. Perhaps your preversion is that your addicted to pornography, you cant just say " I was born that way, thats how I am" Perhaps you were born with the lure to pornography but that means it is just that much harder to distance yourself form your lusts and repent of it.

Anyone who believes in Jesus can be saved, and God will address their sins how he does like any other sin. But remember it requires you to be repentant, so if your homosexual and proud, than chances are you cant be a chrisitan because you are unwilling to seperate from your worldly self, it means you are openly sinning against God and proud of it, because the bible does say that it is a sin.

But just like any other sin, if you seek repentence, even somone who has homosexual desires can be saved
