My best friend has always been there for me through the good times and the bad times. she is really happy for me when i like someone and says i should ask them out but when she finds out that they like me too she starts saying bad things about that person. i like one of her friends now and at first she said that he was really cute and that i should talk to him. now that we are talking and handing out she is saying that he is just going to use you and that he is just a little horny bastard. but the thing is is that she has known him longer than me and to me he doesnt seem like that.what should i do????

It sounds to me like she is looking out for you as best she can. Maybe she does think the guy is cute and maybe she did think it would be good for you 2 to start seeing eachother...but beign taht she is old friends with him, perhaps she knows something that you dont know...and out of loyalty to him she cant get into details BUT out of loyalty to you she is trying to give you the hint.....

Yes, it's sounds as if ur friend may have the green eyed monster in her. Because she's say one thing, then change it after the fact.

U should have a talk with her about this, u should let her know that it's odd that she does this.

I had a friend like your friend and I found out that it was because deep down she was jealous and that she really didn't like ( me)

We're not that close anymore, because I didn't need anyone who play friendly in my face, then behind my back talked about me like a dog.

So, u should have a serious talk with her b 4 u contiune to call her your friend.

Primarily, if that guy really was a "horny bastard", why is she still friends with him? There can be only two possibilities. Either this friend of yours is busy ruining your love life, or she truly cares for you. Personally, I think it's the former. You need to set things straight and instead of letting her single out guys for you, why don't you put your judging abilities to test?

your friend is jealous, and what i think you need to do is because this has happened to me is that you need to sit her down and ask her plain out if she is jealous of you, and ask her if she wants to talk to you about and if so let her talk but if she says no dont pressure her
