From a non-drinker's perspective, I would say yes. That means you drink 12 days a month, 144 days a year, and are drunk about 40% of the time. You have to understand that Alcohol is a (legal) drug. Sadly, your habit is not uncommon so it's easy to think that you do not have a problem because you can ignore those who say otherwise and only focus on other drinkers. But sooner or later, you should really come to terms with yourself and maybe get in touch with a friendly private counselor.
Here are some questions to ask yourself as a guideline:
Have you ever felt:
The need to cut down on your drinking?
Annoyed by criticism of your drinking?
Guilty about your drinking?
As if you need an eye-opener in the morning?
Check out this site as a starting point, good luck.

As a general guideline, answer this truthfully. Does your weekend drinking interfere with your work, cause problems in your relationships, put a strain on your finances, or do you think you need to drink less? If not, then there's no problem. If yes, then cut back.
1-3 (and I'd say even up to 6) drinks a day just on weekends isn't going to hurt most people. Of course, it depends on how fast you drink and how your personal body chemistry reacts to alcohol. Most people, it's not going to be a problem.

I don't think it is really considered a drinking problem unless you do it constantly everyday, but it depends on what your drinking. If your drinking something hard then maybe. Really it's only if you can not stop craving alcohol which would make it a drinking problem. Since you just do it on the weekend then no you do not.

that really depends on who your are talking to, and if it causing problems in your life.
Textbook - that could be considered alcoholism - but I was that way through my early 20s - still went to work like I should and paid the bills, and did not cause problems with my relationships - then cooled it when I had my family as I approached my 30s -- so if it interferes with your life, then yes it is a problem - otherwise, make sure to drink responsibly and have a DD.

Not a problem. If you drink like crazy on weekends, that might be a problem. A drink or two each night is perfectly healthy.

There are weekend alcoholics - they go to work and take care of everything during the week - but drink non stop on weekends and holidays. You should cut down :D

I think the fact that you've asked that question demonstrates that you are concerned by this drinking habit. By that, I think you have self defined that you have a problem with alcohol. I imagine that if you take action now to change your drinking patterns, then this problem will not affect your life.

It's only a problem really, if you feel it is. Is it doing anything to hurt your quality of life, your health? Do you need to do it every day? Could you go one week end with out Drinking? I don't think it's a problem as long as you "drink responcibly"
