Sounds like you are hanging around with the wrong kind of guys. Get out and find a better source, more educated (not necessarily formally educated), more secure in their masculinity (they don't have to dis you to feel like a man), kinder, more considerate.
I found that the best way to meet guys is to be interested in some kind of activity that your-type-of-guy likes. You participate in the activity and you just naturally meet other people who do that activity. It really works.

If you're with guys that treat you like crap.. then you're with the wrong guys. There are a lot of us out there that know how to treat a girl right.... dinner... movies.. holding doors open.. buying you flowers.. gifts... doing things for you... being nice... listening.. caring.. sharing... everything and anything that you feel you should have from a relationship.... if you're not getting that.. find another guy that will give it to you... obviously, whoever you're with now.. just doesn't have a clue and is probably self absorbed!

You are probably stuck in a rut like I was and are attracted to the wrong kind of man--the selfish, rough and tough kind of man. What I did was get some counseling and put myself through school. Now if any guy that is a loser comes up to me I look the other way. I can take care of myself without a man and that gives me a lot of self-confidence.

It's mainly because you have no boundaries.
Boundaries are the steps you take to have self respect and self esteem for yourself.
Being able to say "No, you have no right to treat me this way".
Most times we attract these kinds of people into our lives because we are scared to be alone so we will take anything or anyone into our lives.
When you have self respect for yourself then you will find that things will shift in your life. You may go it alone for awhile until you find what it is that you really need and want in your life.
Try making a list of positive and negatives that you (or anyone) want in your life. Be specific and clear and that is what you will attract.

Because you let them. I don't mean to be rude but if a guy is treating you like dirt, then the first time he did it you let him get away with it so it gave him permission to do again. We take what we allow, we get what we get 'cause we do what we do. If you want respect, gain it by not allowing them to treat you like it to begin with.
Good luck, toughen up-tough world out there and ya gotta get tough with it!

Because they like the feeling of being superior to you and treating you however they want to. They cant accept that someone, especially a girl or their girlfriend, is better than them because it hurts their ego.
Or so I think.
It's annoying when they treat you like crap, isn't it? haha

Its an ego ting....guys act like jerks becasue for some reason those stupid girls always come back for more....if you like a guy and he starts acting like that then you need to do it right back...guys like a challenge if you play hard to get(but not too hard to get, dont be unavailable) he will most likely start kissing your a$s again

Because they can! You consciously or subconsciously allow them to treat you that way.
Be strong, firm and stand up for yourself and you might see a change in how people treat you.
