We have two dogs, a brother and sister from the same litter. Yet two more different dogs it would be hard to find. They are cross breed Schnauzer and Jack Russell. The dog is built like a Schnauzer with the colours of a Russell and the ***** is the size of a Russell with a fawn long hair coat. His name is Merlin and hers is Taro.

It depends on what your dog is like. My Lhasa Apso was already named when i got her but i picked a name for my OES (Old English Sheepdog aka Bobtail). As he was English, i went on Yahoo search for old English names and picked Oswynm because it means friend of the gods and i thought it was the best start he could get!
One way to do it is! Pick a few names you like, call your dog these names and when he comes to you wagging his tail then you know you've picked a winner!

My dog is a 1 year old tricolour Jack Russel called Jacob. He is a second owner dog as his first owners were Chinese students. They originally gave him the name Naughty, sounds lovely in Chinese English, but not so in English. Anyway, I called him Jacob as he has been adopted into God's family and is now a Jesus dog.

Our terrier is called Vinnie Bones. Yours and ours should get together for a game of football. We are thinking of getting a cat and calling it Stevens after the sixties pop star. If I had a rabbit I would call it Welsh and a fish I would call supper. If I had an Elephant I would call it Garry Linnecare !!!
