first off-im sorry if my spellings a little off-my spell check is brocken:(oh no!!!-well first of all take the pictures toany local walmart or wallgreens,in the photo center there should be a kadack machine
you can youse the scaner to make a bigger picture and you can cut and crop-andzoom and enhance to make the photo bring out the littlest deatials about your kittie!Heres some more idaes of how to make your sighn more noticable for passing cars{that is i f you put it up on stop sighns and lamp post}!!Ok well fist-are you offering an aword?an aword will help your kittie come home!if you live in a large city than offer around $50-if you live in a smaller naiborhood than offer aroun$20-25!on your sighn you will need the following supplies if you do it this way!
~ cunstruction paper
~pictures!
~glue
~glitter glue
~sparkles
~colerd sharpies
~foam
~water proof covering
~a cash reward
~and of course time and love!
you can get all this stuff for about $20 at walmart!now i hope your cat really is missing{and this is not just another joke....}
FIRST-lay out about ten difrent color construction papers-the color of your photo should not blen in with the colors of the construction paper for best results!put the pictures on the construction paper-leeving a good amount of room for you to write!glue the picture down and then glue around the picture!take a cup of water and ad two diffrent colors of sparkles stir it around with piant brushes-then carfully brush onto glue{which was around the picture}making a sparkly picture frame!
Next-under-or above the picture{depending where you put the picture}Write in multi. colors of sharpie "REWARD-$??"filling the "??"with however much mony-like said before!then gliter glue around or on top of the letters-so when the sun shines on the sparkles-the reward lights up and catches viewers eyes-!!
Then-write out your information with the sharpies-make sure to write your PHONE # in big bold letter so that viewers can see it with a simple glanse!you can also write your name-address and kitties name!
After that take the foam and cut out harts-stars and any other shapes that you please......put a thin layer of glitter on them and put on the corners of your paper!this too will help it stand out! When this is done your poster should look great!Put the water proof covering on the poster and you should be ready to go and put them up...!
You can make as many as you want-as many as you need,i was just saying ten to give you an estimate!it may not be too full when your done but you dont want it over crowded-the first one may not look as good as you may imangine so you can play around with diffrent ideas to make it look the way you want it-just remeber....you dont want it cramed with information so that views only see alot of letters-you want to put things so that when driving by at 25-40 mph you can some-what tell what it says!
another way to help is to color copy one of the crations and hand them out to all your naibors and friends and even post in local gas stiations!
I hope with all my heart you fined your lost kitten and that she is unharmed-i know how it feels-two of my cats ran away a couple years ago.......we got one back but then she ran away agian-but the person who brought her back said she never would have nown who the cat belong to if my sighn hadnt cought her eye!Of course i cant promis my sighns will work for you but i certanly hope they do! Maby if she comes home you should put a coller and name tag on her! Also have you checked your local animal shelters and spca's?maby some-one found her and took her to one of thoughs not knowing where she lived!!!!!!!!!!!!!HOPE YOU THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Making a Lost Pet Sign
Follow these steps for making effective Lost Pet signs
Use fluorescent paper or poster Board and make each sign at least 12" X 16" - remember, you want everyone who drives by to notice your sign, so the bigger and brighter, the better. Print "LOST CAT (or LOST DOG)" in huge letters at the bottom. Print REWARD in huge letters at the top, but do not specify the amount.
Always use the best photo you have of your pet, preferably a color photo showing the entire pet, and the larger the photo, the better. Use actual photos if you can - if not, color copies are the next best thing, and any Kinkos can make them for you. Black & White copies of color photos are not recommended because they generally not clear enough to make the pet recognizable to strangers who may have seen him/her.
Include a paragraph below the photo, in smaller text, with your pet's name, coloring, hair length, and any distinctive markings, whether it was wearing a collar, and the location and date the pet was last seen. Include a phone number where you can be reached in big, bold letters, and encourage calls anytime day or night. If your pet is timid, add that your pet may run if approached, and ask folks to please call if they see him/her, whether they can get close to the pet or not.
It is also important to withhold at least one identifying mark or characteristic of your lost pet, in case you need it later to verify that a person has actually found your pet and is not trying to scam you - it's unfortunate, but it happens.
For safety considerations, DO NOT include your name, address, or a specific reward amount. The type of people that you hope will call are animal lovers who don't care about the money - not folks looking to make buck.
Post your signs on telephone or street light poles at busy street corners, and at a level as far above your head as possible for maximum visibility (see below). Be sure to use wide clear tape - basic packing tape works very well. Tape all four sides of the poster to be sure no one can get a hand or finger up under the poster and rip it down. Use clear plastic wrap or sheets of clear plastic from the office supply to protect them in climates where it rains often. Taking these extra measures when posting your flyer will give your poster a much better chance of remaining in its spot for an adequate length of time. Don't forget to examine your posted flyers frequently and replace the ones that are missing or damaged.
"Florescent poster boards will catch the attention of everyone passing through the area and generate more leads!"
And finally, you'll want to make up some smaller brightly colored flyers with the same information and with good photos to post at local veterinary offices, pet stores, pet groomers, laundromats, barber & beauty shops, grocery stores, churches, convenience stores, pizza parlors, and community bulletin boards.
Don't forget to make a few black and white copies of the flyers to hand out and leave at each house nearby. And make sure your local postman has one, too!
**Good Luck**

See,how the picture looks blown up.If it looks ok then put the picture on a sign, name of the cat,any medicine the cat may take, your phone number, and a describtion of the cat,the date came missing, and anything you may think will help.No matter how the picture looks, just make sure you put the picture on a poster. If can not do picture big, then put it on small. It is on you if you want to put a reward down.
Post the posters all around your area,in stores, newspaper, animal shelter, and any place you think may help.
Also, check your local animal shelter to see if they may have picked up your cat.

you have to put that pic of him on the sign and put it in color so that they can see exactly what the cat looks like. then you need to put the name describe the cat. make the signs look nice so that people will stop and read them. then you need to put the signs where people will notice them. like the front door of your local gym or church. get others involved. this may sound like a lot but the work will pay off!!!
o and next time put a collar on the cat!!

Make the sign with a blown up pic of him with your name and #. Plus dint forget to go to your local animal shelters! Unfortunately you only have a few days (3-5) to pick him up if he is there, before it goes up for adoption OR is destroyed! Make sure you check!!!

use bright colored paper and maybe get his picture enlarged. make sure to put what he answers to, what he looks like, where he might be, your home address, your phone number, and at the bottem, dont forget to put how much you miss him and even put "reward" becasue that attracts the eye of the average human! I hope you find your cat and i know that is really hard on you but good luck!

It's probably dead if it went missing. My cat "ran away" once and when I went looking for it I found it dead on the road about 4 blocks from my house.
It probably strays from the house every night and just didn't make it this time... Just telling you so you don't waste too much money trying to find it.

Blow up the picture as large as you can, put MISSING in huge letters across the top, make sure your first name and phone is at the bottom (not address, since there are indeed sick people). Make sure the reward (if there is one) is also big and visible as well.

Just give a good description of him, his name, any collar or tags he has on, and your phone number. Include "Reward" if you are prepared to offer one.
Best of luck to you, I hope he just wandered off. In that case, they always come home for food (if someone else in the 'hood isn't setting out food, that is.) But seriously, maybe he'll just show up!
