Yes. The Republican party is made up of people of all faiths. I personally have never met an atheist. I have met many who claimed to be Atheist however, when open dialogue about beliefs was opened it was revealed that they are truly Agnostic not Atheist. People need to actually look at the party platforms and choose which way best correlates with their beliefs. There are many varied ranges of extremism in all parties...you just have to find what is the closest fit for your political ideals about government policy and join the fun!

I got a laugh at the first couple replies. They think the republicans are all about money...lol... As long as the government has alot of control over business in this country money will rule the political scene.

Most of them are ,to be an atheist means that you don't believe in God,to dislike what he have created means that you disbelief in the purpose that it serve, and just the fact that it exists means that it serves a purpose. To the republican if it does not generate dollars,or serve their purpose,it is useless. How can you love the tree and hate the fruit and still want that tree in your yard.

Sure being a republican doesnt mean that you have to be a part of the ultra conservative, I know that my ex sister in law is an atheist and a republican. She agrees with more of their philosphy than she does with that of democrats.

I know a few. I'm a libertarian (left-leaning). I have voted for Republican candidates in a few elections. Atheism doesn't require a certain political affiliation, though. It is not a world view.
