The AIDS virus can only survive for a limited amount of time outside de human white T cells
mosquitos don´t have this cells so they cannot transport the virus and even if they had them in a mosquito bite there is not enough transfer of blood to make them contagious of these virus (you need a minimum amount of virus to get infected).
Other diseases caused by virus can be transmitted because the virus amount to get infected is very low and the mosquito has cells that can carry the virus alive. or in the case of malaria the parasite

They are right, because AIDS or HIV is a virus. It needs very specific environment to survive as far as temp. and surrondings are concerned, and a mosquitos digestive track isn't the right place. Diseases like Malaria are caused by a tiny bacteria like sporzoite. HIV in disease terms is rather difficult to acquire. It dies with seconds of air exposure, or temp. change. It's not airborne. It can live on it's own with a host, nor reproduce. So I hoe this helped, so go ahead on go fishin or swimmin the "squiters" wan't hurt you:)

I think because AIDS needs a larger ammount of the virus to transmit into the body than a mosquito can do...I think probably they do carry the virus but it's not enough to actually overpower our immune systems.

AIDS caused by a fragile virus can destroyed by the gastric secretions of the insect gut and the mosquito is not the intermediate host of this virus.

I used to wonder about that same thing.I saw a show on cable that explained that the virus can't spread that way.I didn't understand the technical explaination but it has something to do with the fact that the virus dies before it gets to you.

I agree totally with you. If mosquitoes can transmit other diseases, they can transmit Aids.

Not all diseases can survive in that way. Malaria can, for instance, but many others cannot. Each disease is different and thus reacts differently.
