The blister broke and was full of clear liquid. Its not a burn. I dont know if it is some type of bite or allergic reaction. Has anyone had something like this and how do you treat it. It hurts where the blister broke. The blister kept getting bigger also.
A bandaid will stick to the open wound a be very painful to remove.

It is hard to diagnose this, with this little bit of information. It appears that it is a blister. It may have been caused by a burn that you were unaware of, insect bite, allergic reaction to something you contacted or a wide variety of other possibilities. The fact that it is a water filled blister, tells me that the immune response is intact. This is the bodys way of forming, if you will, a protective padded bandaide. This fluid filled sack prevents harmful invaders, like dirt and germs to enter the damaged tissue. It also works to heal. The fluid is filled with many healing substances, that come to the rescue of the damaged tissue. The danger is when the blister is broken. One should never deliberately break a blister. However, if the blister breaks, one should keep the area clean and protected. Neosporin is a good antibiotic ointment to would very similar to the bodys response. It will prevent infection and promote healing. Cover the area with a sterile bandage. You never want to put a dry bandage on a seeping wound, because the fluid will dry on the badage and then pull the healed tissue off when you remove the bandage. If you have done this, soak the wound & bandage in clean & warm water for 20 minutes, then slowly remove the bandage, it should come off without pain or damage. Look for signs and or symptoms of infeaction. Reddness, swelling, pain, green drainage, increased warmth to area or unexplained fever. If the wound gets worse each day, or it not showing signs of healing with a week or 10 days. If there is any loss of functioning, like numbness, etc ...seek medical assistance at once.

DEAR, FIRST OF ALL YOU SHOULD CONTACT YOUR DERMATOLOGIST AS SOON AS POSSIBLE , BECAUSE IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO ASK SOME-ONE (THROUGHT THE INTERNET) TO DIAGNOSE & CURE.

FROM WHAT I HAVE UNDERSTOOD, PROPABELY YOU HAVE WHAT WE CALLED IN MEDICINE (( CONTACT DERMATITIS)), WHICH IS A KIND OF SKIN HYPERSENSITIVITY REACTIONS TOWARD FORIEGN SUBSTANCES OR BODIES LIKE (( INSECT BITES OR SECRETION, CLEANING SOLUTION, METAL BRACES AND WRIST RINGS, SOME CHEAP COSMOTIC CREAMS AND POWDERS, TALC POWDER __LIKE WHAT USED IN THE GLOVES, ANIMAL SKIN AND HAIR --LIKE CATS & DIGS..........
WELL , IN SUCH CASES, YOU SHOULD TRY TO CLEAN THE TARGET AREA WITH CLEAN COLD WATER AND SOME ANTI-SEPTIC SPRAY (( PLEASE USE LOW CONCENTRATIONS))..
AND TRY TO BE SOFT AROUND THE BLISTER AREAS...

TRY TO AVOID THE MOST PROPABLE CAUSES (( RELEASE YOUR METALIC BRACES AND RING, STOP COSMOTIC AT EFFECTIVE AREA, KEEP ANIMALS AWAY))

THEN ,FOR THE TENDERNESS AND DISCOMFORT , TRY TO TAKE ANTI-INFLAMMATROY MEDICATION TO LOWER THE DISCOMFORTING STATUS, (( USE ASPEGIC SACHETS 500mg EVERY 8hrs )).

THE NEXT STEP IS TO APPLY ANTI-BIOTIC CONTAINING CREAM , LIKE (( FUCIDIN CRAEM, BEPANTHIN CREAM , OR KENACOMB CREAM )) , AND THE LAST ONE IS VERY EFFECTIVE ,SINCE IT CONTAIN COMPINATIONS OF DIFFERENT ANTI-BIOTICS & ANTI-FUNGAL......

FINALLY , AS I MENTIONED BEFORE, CHECK YOUR DERMATOLOGIST IF MY TREATMENT CAME WITH LOW RESULTS..

BEST REGARDS....
