There is no way to tell. My husband's parents are from India, and I am as white & blonde with blue eyes as they get. My parents are not blonde & blue eyed, so we thought our kids would be dark with brown eyes. Nope. We had fraternal twin girls, both have very light skin tone (but are tanning easily even with SPF 30 on), light brown hair & blue eyes! We were shocked, but that's the way they are.
There is no way to tell. Even with all the statistics of dominant colour & stuff kids can turn out to be whatever they want. Your in-laws will just have to learn to love the baby no matter the colour of their skin! It's hard, my husband's mom is having a tough time with the same thing, she wishes they were browner. Doesn't help that both girls are so like me in personality and not like my husband either. But they are babies, it's the way they are and we just have to love them no matter if we don't like how they look or their in-born personalities. Your in-laws will fall in love with your baby the first time they see it, and will see past what they consider important now. Congratulations & have fun with your baby!

I don't think anyone can really answer this question honestly. I think what your in-laws should be worried about is if the baby is born healthy. Whatever your babies color is, it will be perfect.
My mother is white and my father is Hispanic, I have two younger brothers. I am the only one who came out with a white complexion. My brothers both look like the are full blooded Hispanic. So I think it just depends. (I don't know if this helped any)

I would say that the child will look more Indian. I have a friend who is Pakistani that married a chinese lady and all of their babies are coffee coloured with large dark brown eyes... they look Indian asian.
But of course everyone is different. I would say that you will probably have the more dominant gene. But you will just have to wait and see, I'm sure your baby will be beautiful whoever it takes after.

if you didn't care about the colour then why ask?
you're kid's gonna be beautiful.
about the in-laws?... sod the in-laws, you really shouldn't care what they think.
I'm Chinese (with dark-tan skin) and my gf is polish (light skin, blue eyes), she's 5 months pregnant. we don't care what colour our kid's gonna be and we don't care what other people think. as long as he's healthy, we're happy.
my sisters think it's great that we're having a baby, but my parents (both Chinese) weren't so happy at the beginning saying they'll disown it coz it ain't proper Chinese?!. so frigging what?, it's my kid.
they're kinda ok with it now coz they can see the bump on my gf.
my sister got the same cr@p years ago when she married a non Chinese. my mum didn't talk to her for 5years! now they have two
beautiful kids, my parents are cool with that.
i think you're in laws are going to be ok about it whatever the colour. if not, tell 'em put up or shut up! best o luck!

Congratulations!
(S)he could be closer to your skin colour or your wife's and may look mostly Chinese or mostly Indian. Either is just as possible but most probably they will look dark skinned Chinese.
I bet they will be very good looking! (It sounds like a nice racial mixture).
Tell your in laws that it's not the bl**dy dark ages and a child's colour is utterly irrelevant to who (s)he is but having loving grandparents is very important.
Your wife's mum and dad will probably forget this nonsense once they meet their grandson/ granddaughter, so don't worry.

Your child will be light brown, like the Malays in Singapore. Usually have big eyes and a big nose. The chinese gene will only help to dilute your colour and dilute the strong Indian features. Not much of Chinese gene can be seen...maybe the slit eyes if your wife has them.

Congratulations!!
I hope when your child is born that your in-laws see the miracle and gift that has been brought into the world.
Babies come in all different colours with different characters for you to nuture.
Anyway - my brother is black and sister-in-law is white, they have three children and each one is lighter than the last, The first one very dark skined with afro hair and the last one very pale with european hair, the middle one is .....in the middle.

you may well find that your child will be somewhere in between as skin colour is often (but not always) co dominant which means that each set of genes is given an equal decision as to what the final outcome will be
but as a baby your child may well be lighter in colour than when she grows up.
also i am sure that your in-laws will learn to love their grandchild no matter what over time

It will be Chindian yellowish brownish whitish tanish black. I mean, can't you just figure it out for yourself. You could go into one of those photo booths that they have at arcades that takes a picture of both of you and morphs together a picture of what your offspring would look like. Did you really ask that question? If its a boy, it will be ugly, if its a girl, it will be like most mixed women and probably be pretty hot. I don't even know where to go with this.
