Get down the high street and do some busking. I paid my way around Europe for 6 months doing this. If your not musical then perhaps cash in on a lack of talent and perform an impromptu 'crap magician' act or similar.

I'd definatly go with the CD option, do you have a shop near you that buys them?
They dont give you much though so have a good rummage.
Just rip all your CD's to your PC, i did that and now mine are on ebay!
