soak ur hair in conditioner without rinsing them off then wear a cap over it..
cap will sustain the leakage of the conditioner..
conditioner acts as a barrier from the chems in tthe pool to seep in to ur hair..
soaking the hair wet b4 u jump into a pool will helpp coz it retains the water with less chem in the cap rather than ur hair soak right away with the water from the pool..But make sure u rinse your hair properly after being in the pool to wash away residue of the conditioner ..by using this method,ur hair will still smells great and not smell like the chlorin..(the smell out of fish tanks..ewww)

After going swimming, try to at least rinse your hair out and apply a leave in conditioner until you have the time to wash and condition it. The chemicals in the pool can really kill your hair.

You really should wear a cap... its very helpful. Also, there is this shapmoo, Malibu C Swim and Sport shampoo and conditioner. I don't know where you can buy it, except at this little shop where i live... wait, they have a website: http://www.swimrun.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=TSARS&Category_Code=SA1

Also, wash your hair before hand so its full of water before you swim. But, really, you should wear a cap. They're totally worth it, and the best way I've found to prevent my long hair from getting chlorine fried.

A thick leave-in conditioner will coat the hair shaft and provide some protection.
Wash your hair after you get out of the pool with a gentle shampoo and use conditioner.

My moms hairdresser has told me that if you wet your hair (not with pool water) before you go into the pool, your hair doesnt absorb as many chemicals as when you just go in dry. Its worked for me!

you could put cholesterol conditioner in you hair a few minutes before you go into the pool it protects your hair from breakage and sort of like a shield that protects it from heat and chemicals"And you can put in on while your hair is dry!"

get a twig bottle...3/4 with water some thing else with everyday conditioner, blend it, prepare generously in the previous and after swimming. you may also get a conditioner that receives rid of chlorine after swimming and forestalls it from turning eco-friendly once you've blonde hair, the spray bottle also works properly with this manner of conditioner.

You could wear a rubber cap. That would help more than anything else.
