when you get involved with a woman who is actively working out and is trying to look her best do you say, "Well, when you reach your goal weight and you get in shape, you're gonna be look too good to want to stay with me..."? What the H-E-double hockey sticks is THAT!? That comment in and of itself is a turn-off. I LOVE confident and even borderline cocky men. Love yourself enough to keep comments/compliments like above said to yourselves... It's a turn-off. If I'm with you now, I'll be with you then as long as you're doing the right thing. Wanna know why, because I already know that I am the bomb whether I am at my goal weight or not, and I expect my man to know the same thing about himself...

Go ahead, make me understand!...

The reason SOME guys do that is because of insecurities probly there before they met you....unless you were just a mean b***h all the time. The insecurities could have come from his parents who knows but speaking personally, I love BBW and could care less about a woman working out or getting in shape. If my lady wants to do it, good for her. I work out 6 days a week! We could spend some fun quality time in the gym together.

Ok I'm a chick.....but to me he sounds like he's fishing for a compliment.

You know kind of like a girl who's good looking but complains about how fat she is to everyone so she can reel in some compliments.

I think you're right though, he doesn't have enough confidence....and yes that is really unattractive.

For most men, experience has shown them that when women improve themselves, they end up looking for someone else. Who says men are not insecure. I work out a lot and been in that situation that when she changed her apperance she looked for something else although i was still the same man inside and in good shape

if the man was mature enough to take a comment like that he wouldn't have made a statement like that... total turnoff! He doesn't have confidence in himself.

I have had men say that too...

as for understanding... it is all self esteem issues...

some guys just want reassurance, because you're obviously very attractive and they want to check you'll still feel that way about them- it's not so much about insecurity as just double checking your love. Unless of course they nag you for ages until you actually want to shove your fist in their mouth. Then they deserve to be below your league.

it is a comment from an idiot - the world is full of them! keep on working out and doing what you do - never mind what others think or say.
