I think the term is indeed applied to liberally. It seems that everyone is a "good Christian" if they attend church. I find this extremely funny, as most of those "good Christians" in church, live anything but a Christian life the other 6 days of the week.

It happens more often than not, unfortunatly.
It is all about a good front or con put on by the family in question. The CPS can be fooled easily and I grew up in a situation where it happened ..
Dont worry, the so called "good christian homes'' will get theirs in the end when god shuns them for being evil liars and they spend eternity n hell..
Thats how I see it or they will be eventually busted in their con and be seen for what they are by society..

Just because someone says they are Christians doesn't mean they are. A Christian does what Jesus would do. And I know he wouldn't molest any kids. Not to mention there are a lot of people who go to Church on Sunday's and get drunk and smoke weed after. No wonder true Christians get a bad rap.

I have definitely, my baby daughter is in a "good christian foster home" until I am able to get her back, but the woman that keeps her is everything but a christain in my opinion.
She takes care of my daughter, and I am grateful for it, but otherwise, she does not have me convinced with that whole "christian" title she like to throw out there.
I could tell you some things she has done, but don't have the time or energy to do it.

Disgusting. But it does happen all the time. Unfortunately, a great many people use the church as a hiding place, and people are fooled by the disguise. However, God is not fooled for a moment. No matter how much time one spends in church, or how much they put in the collection plate, He knows what is in their hearts, and what really goes on in their homes.
(other oxymorons: "home of the brave, land of the free", "liberty and justice for all", "freedom of religion", "freedom of speech"...and the beat goes on....)

many children are molested in what appears to be "good christian homes."
A person's religion doesn't not prevent this type of disgusting behavior as most child molesters (in america) claim to be christian...
