The best travel agencies are the ones who try not to get you to buy more.Cheap travel? That varies.....there are popular ones like Travelocity or old fashioned ones like AAA.....all travel places will get you where you want to.It is up to the consumer to do the leg work though for choosing one.Both of the above places are online.AAA agents work well with you in getting things like rental cars and hotels.Rates also vary according to where you are going and the time of season.....since its summer time in the USA....most rates are high......off season or off peak times are probably your best times to travel as rates are low....

Expedia can be good. Cheaptickets.com is also a good site. Try to look for reputable agencies.
