I don't think any gals come from a barrel of oil. Certainly no gals come from gas. Gals, like guys, come from the fertilization of an egg by a sperm and through gestation and birth. I'd go into more details here, but this is an open forum and I wouldn't want to offend anyone.

a barrel of crude is 42 gallons, and after refining about 20 to 25 percent is refined into gas or other fuels

answer...Greed remark...because it became defined to me, that is the fellow station proprietors way of recouping some lost income...Slowly decrease the gasoline value as oil expenditures fall speedier..that is not any longer precise, yet we are able to not do a lot about it.
