Like I said above, thank God, this abonination called a bill is highly unlikely to pass a hostile Hoiuse of Represenatives that want nothing to do with giving illegal aliens amnesty.

I'm disgusted with my state's stand on the amnesty and immigration issue. I'm not surprised, just disgusted. It's a sad, sad day, when the ladies n gentlemen we vote into office basically turn their backs on the will of the people and instead go with their corporate pals' wishes. America's not a corporation, there's other motivators at work in our national psyche besides the bottom line, which is as it should be. Jobs and the economy aren't even the issue here. We're talking livability. American cities are already turning into slums because of what's been tolerated thus far, complete with crime and poverty, turning that around means turning some people around at the border before they ever get to our shores. The liberals want to let everyone and their dog come on in to america, and maybe that approach did some good, 40 years ago, but now that baby 6.5 billion has been born, and other countries really aren't showing much in the way of progress towards dealing with their long-term social problems, and see america as the sole exclusive solution to their problems,
our country's going to end up playing 'host' to all this collective dysfunction, and it's going to drive up the tax rates, and it's going to drive up the debt, decrease the buying power of YOUR paycheck, such as it is, and essentially make a nice big mess where our livability used to be. I would wager that the vast majority of americans really don't want to see more urban blight, more industrial sprawl, and as much as the pro-growth industrialists might be trying to push these things along, people are turning their backs on these guys, and with good reason:
If all american citizens represent to these people is another number, a statistic, a manipulable graphic, a dot on a chart etc., then they can damn well pack their bags and ply their wares somewhere else in the world where literacy hasn't managed to prepare the public for their shenanigans. What's a corporate raider to do in face of an educated public? Find a new JOB. LOL

11. promises a 10 12 months 'statute of limitations' to grant amnesty to illegals coming in in the destiny in the adventure that they grant documentation putting forward they were right here for 10 years at any destiny element. (This to those who've been utilising pretend files all alongside.) 12. all the client workers in all the a million.5 million human being in step with 12 months and a couple of hundred,000 unskilled human being in step with 12 months software would, upon acquiring residency or citizenship be in a position to deliver their households as well. This contains indigent mothers and fathers at a time when we already don't understand how we are able to fund previous age criteria for the toddler boomers. The Wall street mag merely touted a ballot putting forward individuals are starting up to desire Bush and the Senate's view to immigration reform. although, i have study the questions they requested. Had I no longer actually study the Senate invoice and had I been requested those questions, i'd have ended up being counted as helping Bush and the Senate in this. human beings in reality approve of the Senate invoice in the adventure that they do no longer understand what it says. joanjett187 - have you ever study the Senate invoice? If no longer, who's uneducated and closed minded about this?

It also contains a 10 year rolling statute of limitation which creates a rolling amnesty.
It also has a 20% per year accelerator to increase the number of immigrants allowed in the guest worker classes, and permits the 'chain immigration' of allowing their family in too.
It does not require the employers to provide the health care and education for their work force, so it would be further overburdening our failing systems.

Ironically, all four Senators from HI and AL have voted yea. I can't understand Brownback from Kansas voting yea, too. Maybe it is because of the dog food, pork processing, and other cheap labor jobs in our state.
