would any females out there marry a guy that has plans to join the Army? I plan to get married immediately after highschool and then join the Army. Would you support my plans? Why or why not?

i support them and i would probably marry you but it would hurt me to get married then you go off for maybe 5-9 yrs. and i have to go without you holding me in your arms and us kissing and of course making love. I believe that would be the hardest thing to do, but all I would look forword to was seeing you again and you holding and kissing me. Maybe a girl out there can handle that, I dunno maybe I can too.

I would wait to get married guy, you are going to be away for a long time and both of you might change by the time you get back. Good for joining the Army also, I am proud of servicemen and have a lot of respect.

If she loves you she will marry you. My son says you need to check the new laws though...the military says you can't marry right before leaving. They like you to wait until after basic training. I respect your desire to serve your country. There are lots of women in the army...Don't be in any rush to make decisions, you have lots of years of life ahead of you.

I would, if I love the guy. But I like moving from place to place. Your plan not so great there are a lot of women out there and you my need to take your time but if you have been with this person for year and if you think your in love ..................go for it.

I personally wouldn't because you would be newly married and then have to leave me. A lot of times you would have to be more dedicated and committed to the Army than me, and to me, that isn't what marriage is about.

well not really, im not ready to get married, when i get older i would marry the guy as long as he loved me, i would be worried about about him all the time. but i do think i would support ur plans.

I would support them, but not marry you. I like to be with a man that I can actually spend time with.
It takes a very special woman to be a military wife.

I would because I don't have to worry about getting tired of looking at you or dealing with your sickening ways. I also could do whatever and whoever I want while you are away
