What is a program for windows xp where i can make a slideshow with music? Can I just use Microsoft Powerpoint because i didnt know if i could add audio with that?

Yes, powerpoint is ur best bet. You can add music....I had to do a school project with pics, words and audio, that all had to match up!! It was crazy. If I can remember right, I believe that you can just add the file to ur first slide by going to file, open, and find ur file from there. I hope this is right!!

Use Microsoft powerpoint 2003 it's good you can also add audio from insert / movies & sounds then choose either from the clip organiser or from any where else on your computer.
N.B : Powerpoint doesn't read files with extension .rm

I tried to get a link quick for what you ask. Its called winter fun pack 2004 for windows xp You can set up a changing desktop with any folders in my pictures or create a separate folder to include pictures of your choice. Its easy to use and easy to change on each start-up or any time you wish. It will change your desktop at any time interval you choose from 15 minutes to 1 week. This is your desktop background not a screen saver. I use it and change it regularly. sorry no link but search microsoft winter fun pack 2004 for windows xp and im sure you will find it.

Yes that would be power point. How its done is to add music to the master slide and it will add it to all the slides... now if you want a better explination of how to do it go to help in Microsoft Power point and a type music in slide. and it will answer it for you.
