If u are still living with ur wife there is something wrong with the both of you. If you are not living together, disregard what I just typed. :) If you start dating I cant see the damage it would do...unless the person you date falls in love....you fall in love...and you guys want to get married. Uhh....that could be a problem. If you ever really want to be free get the divorce. Oh, and if you get divorced and kick her the hell out then it wont be considered cheating.

it is not cheating... you are not WITH your wife anymore and if you aren't committed to wearing the ring, you shouldn't feel like you are committed to being faithful either...

when asked the question.. simply say, "I am separated"...
I had the same thing but I am a woman... when that leash came off you couldn't stop me! and although I feel morally correct in many ways, when my exhusband "CUT his wedding ring off with metal cutters" and moved out, I figured it was OK to now "look elsewhere"!!
The only thing I caution is that if you have kids, of any age, don't be bringing every woman around that you meet to meet them... only after you have been dating for a while and are serious... the kids are confused enough.

Get a divorce. If the intimacy,both physical and emotional, is not there do you really have a relationship? If she will not sign go down and file. Then get back out there, your life and happiness are about you not her.
