WOW!!! Your cuz seems to have something missing in her life. Studies show that some people retain their imaginary friends until adulthood, and your cuz could be one of them. As long as she gets out, goes to work, and doesn't become an old hermit cat lady; she should be fine. A real man in her life probably wouldn't hurt either. Just let her have her "pillow talk," and softly encourage her to find a featherless companion.

Is your cousin anti-social, does she have a problem making freinds? i dont mean that shes the troublemaker, but does she find it hard to start a conversation and keep it going?
Maybe she does need help, but have you actually sat down and spoken to her, to ask why she has this odd behaviour? I think maybe shes scared of rejection or that she has no-one to talk to. Its kinda weird as children have such imaginary freinds, however, some grow out of it, some need help to accept reality. When there is a problem, the first thing you need to do is accept that there is one!
Or maybe thats just her way of expressing herself, but you wont know unless you ask her!

lol at the other answers... I agree somewhat, but I guess as long as she doesn't sit the pillow up at the dinner table and set it a plate and cook for two, or take it to the movies, it can't be all that bad... ;)

she could do far worse theres men out there that are so dumb they would make a pillow look like the ideal partner does the pillow feel the same about her this is what you should be worried about are they using pillowcases i hope its not just on the rebound

you need to get her out the house so she can meet some real people, people that will show back affection than a pillow cause a pillow shows no affect back so take her out introduce her to some guys.

Pillow? Good choice.

I wouldn't say that she is off, but you could find her a nice man that could fill up that space the pillow is taking up in her life

It is only a substitute for something she yearns for. Help her meet some real people. Mind you, she is better off with a pillow than some men!
