Yes and no. Yes life of the soon be body. No the soul already lived.
Jer 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

I don't believe God is micromanaging our wombs, sperm, or eggs. Estimates are that 30% to 50% of all fertilized eggs either don't implant successfully or end in miscarriage before the woman even knows she is pregnant. What is God's plan there? That said I think it is more appropriate to prevent unwanted pregnancy rather than abort because the developing egg would eventually develop into a person. I don't believe a first trimester fetus however has more rights than the fully formed woman who is carrying it and may have very good reasons for not being ready or able to become a parent. I think this should remain a personal choice. Since you believe life begins at conception you are free to decide to not have sex, not use birth control, and never have an abortion. Others should have a right to choose according to their own beliefs. There are so many unwanted, underpriviledged children already in the world, lets focus our attention there. A first trimester fetus is not developed enough to even be aware of its own existence. The world is full of already born children who are suffering.

Why should it begin at conception? Why not consider each individual sperm and ovum to be "life," as well, since they have the potential to become human? That means that every time a man masturbates, he kills millions of tiny little people, and every time a woman has her period, she's killing another little person.
You do realize that many fertilized eggs are spontaneously aborted without the woman even realizing it, right? Does that mean that a human life has died?
I think you need to define exactly what makes a human, human. Physiologically, we are no different than any other animal, so it can't simply be the shape or structure of out bodies. Some would say it's the presence of a "soul," but they cannot prove that a soul exists and science has never detected one, so we can eliminate that as mere fantasy and wishful thinking.
What makes humans unique in the animal kingdom is our capacity for reasoning, creating, and thinking on a level that other creatures cannot. Our brains are what make us human. Now, since brainwave activity is not detected in the fetus until about 5 or 6 months into gestation, then logically we do not become truly human until about that time. Until then, we're just a collection of cells shaped like a human--alive, certainly, but not able to think or reason.
Granted, this isn't the perfect explanation or solution to the question of when "human life" begins, but it certainly is better than the knee-jerk reaction of Christians who are always spouting that "all life is sacred" when what they really mean is that only HUMAN life is sacred...and even then, one must ask, "Sacred to what or whom?" Their answer is "to God," but even a cursory reading of the Bible shows that God does not care any more for fetuses or babies than for anyone else. There is no commandment saying, "Thou shalt not have abortions." Infanticide was a common practice by many people in those times. One command was that if a pregnant woman was injured in a way that caused her baby to abort, the person causing the injury was to pay her husband a sum of money--thus, to God (who gave the laws), a fetus could be bought with money. There is another verse (which I don't have time to look up right now) stating, "Happy will be he who dashes your little ones against the ground." God often commanded his people to kill all of their enemies, even the pregnant women, children, and babies--none were to be spared. Does this sound like a God who valued infants or fetuses, or any human life at all?

I am pro choice, not an abortionist and I beleive life begins at conception. I belive the soul is formed pre conception though. And I dont think its very mature or intelligent to call abortionists murderers. If I was pregnant and my life was in danger and they only way to save me is to abort the baby then yes, I would do it and God will bless me again, hopefully with the same soul. If I was raped at 11 years old like my cousin was, she did have an abortion and she is not a murderer. An 11 year old can not take care of a child and shouldnt have to when it was forced upon her.

Yes, I believe that the moment of conception is the qualification of the beginning of life. There are forms of life, like trees for instance, that have no heartbeat, but once a seed is growing, how can it not be considered a living thing? An entity unto itself? I have never understood how anyone could decide that there was a specific "point" when a growing fetus becomes a real living thing. One moment it isn't, then the next it is? That's silly.

The vital organs arent grown until the phoetus is a couple of months old. So is a human without a heart still human? Yes, the physical life process, where cells divide and multiply begins at conception, but who really knows at which point consciousness kicks in? Is it fair to say that 2 cells have consciousness? If so, then it would be fair to say that trees have consciousness, since they multiply and grow in the same way(just with different DNA structures). This would mean that killing a tree is also murder. At what point can you actually say that a baby has consciousness, at 8 cells or 16?

I disagree, life doesn't begin at conception since the cells (spermatozoon and ovum) that start it all are already alive. Whether those living cells are humans or not, that's the big question, a brain dead person is formed with millions of living cells, yet he's not considered "alive" anymore in human terms.
And it seems that you propose the only murderer should be god, huh? I doubt god has anything to do with the process.

Does creation of a fetus begin with God...or is this where human, genertic creation is available? After all, we can get that far in a test tube. The Breath of Life is from God. When in the womb the fetus is attached to the mother to survive.

I believe that a child is a child from the moment he or she is conceived but I also believe that a mother and father have the right to end that life if it means that the child or mother will be injured because of it. Being injured to me means emotionally, and or physically. If a mother is raped (even by a husband) and that child is not wanted because of the emotional problems it will cause that mother is it fair for the child to be brought into this world unwanted or unloved. A woman who is made to be pregnant against her will doesn't always have the courage or strength to give that child up but will keep it and raise it unloved and unwanted because she feels she has to. Is that fair to the child - no - but is it done - yes. Many people say just give it up but unwanted or unloved doesn't mean you can do that. So I say it is better then to end its life before it is born if it is done as soon as you find you are pregnant. Is that murder? Only God can answer that and he will when we all die as we will be accountable for ours sins, but somehow I don't think he will condemn everyone who has had an abortion. So think hard before you do it but to those who do I don't condemn you, you have your reasons but be sure they are the right ones...

Your an idiot.
Most women spontaneously abort before thier 8th week of pregnance. That makes god the biggest abortionist in history.
Grab a brain ok? Abortion is a necessarry and legal medical procedure and thankfully, will remain so no matter how much you people piss and moan.
You guys talk a good talk but have you EVER adopted an unwanted child? I'm guessing the answer is no. Making you a typical christian hypocrite.

yes, life begins at conception, but at 8 weeks it is only half to 3/4 an inch long, it doesn't have the first brain waves til about 12 weeks. and the soul enters the body with the first breath of air. therefore I am pro-choice if it's done early.
Those who judge others will be judged 7 times harsher in the afterlife.
