It is clear from Y!A. Almost 50% of questions are related to d**k size, virginity, polygamy etc. I am not complaining any one but are we here to discuss all this?

Sex per se is not taboo, but illegitimate sex is.

In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives you air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives you water to drink and food to eat.
God gives you a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves you, and you are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.
Life therefore has fantastic and glorious future!

We are here to discuss anything to everything except for what yahoo prohibits . I generally ask questions for which either I dont know the answer or I want more info . I guess that's what goes for those who ask question pertaining to sex .
I agree sex is still taboo in this world , though not completely . Actually, talking about it should have some restrictions , always . We have to stop ourselves from talking about it in front of kids . Their tender mind is more towards copying or memorizing and very less towards understanding . Do you want any kid (whosoever) ever repeating sex talks which he might have overheard by mistake ?
Apart from that , all the relationships , no matter how intimate/understanding/friendly should maintain a minimum distance . Talk about sex in general is fine but not everyone is really careful and we have people in this world who will paint the picture ugly .
For every topic , there should be right place, right people & right time . If not, not just sex any topic will go wrong .

I think your basic question is why do we discuss sexual topics, is it because they are forbidden in general discourse? Just a fascination with it. It is something thrust (forgive the pun) in our faces so much and yet we still have a horrible lack of understanding about it. It's no wonder something so complicated and fascinating about our bodies is discussed continually. However you want a real education, look at how sex was viewed in past centuries by different cultures. Not so long ago a teenage girl was far more concerned with becoming a better person socially and educationally than how she looked. While by today's standards she was horribly ignorant as to how sex worked she was doubtless aware of the mechanics and accepted it as a fact of life not a race to see who has the most orgasms before they die, which certainly left her with more time to play the pianoforte.

Sex is as pure as your mother giving birth to you.

Lately everybody keeps their minds in the gutter and eyes on the net, so what else can happen?

YOU, the younger generation are to blame.

May the Dagger of Allah fall on the evil thinker.

Some people just don't have anything better to ask about...OR they just don't have any real-world questions that pertain to what is going on in society today.

well.. considering most of those questions are just pathetic humour.......i wouldn't put much stock in them.

As for the legit ones, my guess it would be easier to ask people you don't know,, and who don't know who you are potentially embarassing questions than a loved one.
