Personally, I enjoy a slightly warmer beer. Not room temp as a rule, but not really chilled either. I have never found beer to "go bad" from the cooler to storage to cooler again. I would also recommend a better brand of beer not a cheaper kind. Bottles over cans would also be in order to help maintain the integrity of the flavor. Happy Belching!

I asked a beer guy this several years ago. He said since they started pasturizing the beer , it won't hurt for is to go to room temp and then back cold again. This was a domestic, not sure about imports or microbrews. I do it all the time when there are good sales and store some in my closet.

that actually messes with the taste a bit to have it change temp alot. Keep it cold. Most american beer is meant to be consumed cold. and earopean beer is usually comsumed warm. And it tastes bad if you drink it the wrong temp. Thats just the way it is.

depends. room temperature beer is common in the UK. In the US beer is traditionally cold. All preference I guess. Personally, warm beer is gross.

If you mean while it's still in the can, it won't affect the beer. But American beer drinkers, unlike their limey cousins, prefer their beer cold.
If you open it warm it will lose a lot of the carbonation.

Absolutely no problem letting beer warm for awhile and then cooling it again. Enjoy.

EWWWW! The only way to drink beer is cold! If you do let it get warm don't try to get it cold again, even nastier than drinking it warm.

Ok but temperature changes like that can diminish the taste. Of course, that isn't exactly as bad as diminishing the taste of a good wine.
