I've been a vet tech for about 4 years and the only thing that kills ticks on cats is frontline. advantage only kills fleas but works faster in doing so than frontline. Also make sure your cats don't like to groom any of the dogs u put the advantix on because it is toxic to cats.

None of them KILL ticks, but they REPEL them. Advantage, Frontline, etc., are all good for both dogs and cats. Must be applied once a month, depending on your location, from about May through September.

now and again, it may well be that treatment gained't lengthen a canines's existence. we've all heard memories of an proprietor treating a 16-12 months-previous canines with maximum cancers with radiation treatment, and we've idea, "i'd never attempt this." yet letting bypass will be quite confusing at the same time as it is composed of your own canines. Be honest with your veterinarian, and evaluate what's maximum appropriate for a loving puppy who has been a honest and longtime spouse. now and again euthanasia often is the most humane option, and the perfect act of understand for a loved canines.
