actually, i just finished a study on heaven, so let me try to share some of my newfound knowledge, lol. the first thing that i didn't know B4 was that the heaven we all think of, like floating up to the sky or wutever, it's a temporary heaven. if i were to die right this minute, that's where i would go. after the 1,000 year reign of Christ (after the rapture and everything) satan will be set free for a time, he'll gather an army and try to wage war again Christ and the Christians, we will of course win, : D then God will make a new earth, in which will be a new heaven in Jerusalem. that's the one with the pearly gates and streets of gold and mansions and stuff. we will also have new bodies that don't waste away, so we won't get all old and wrinkly and fat or anything like that, lol.

I WILL TELL you what HEAVEN is about, so you will not want to miss it.When the door open's up and you get your first look of HEAVEN(it'a Planet) you will want to stand there and just look, for bout' a million year's, it take's a long time to take in the Beauty of it, but there is a more pressing motivation that over-come's you----to go to the Throne of the Father, and behold HIS BEAUTY. That's really what HEAVEN is all about, Knowing GOD. And where-ever HE is, that' really HEAVEN. Everything else is secondary. So there you are, you either have a Garment on, or a Garment and a ROBE. The Garment come's from Accepting JESUS as your SAVIOUR(Garment of SALVATION)----the ROBE is a Robe of RIGHTEOUSNESS----this come's from LIVING the CHRISTIAN LIFE (where JESUS can use you to help other's on EARTH) it come's from LIVING a HOLY LIFE(the best you can,degree's) and not playing around with SIN like most Children of GOD do. YOU have to be Serious with GOD on doing the WORK HE has called you to do on the EARTH, to help other's. Have you seen the Wizard of OZ??? Some-one got to visit HEAVEN and told his,her story and some-one else must have over-heard him,her talk and used those idea's to make the movie. (all Truth is Parallel). When Dorithy step's out of the house that the tornado just set down in the movie, every-thing is in COLOR, (it was filmed in Black and White up till then,( it's actuallly the first Color film Hollowood put out I've been told) the thrill that you get seeing it on T.V.(back then it would'a really wowed you out) kinda represent's in a small way, the thrill we will get when we step out through the door and see what's on Planet HEAVEN for the first time!!!!!! Hope this helps!!!!! YES, there are flower's up there that are Beautiful and follow you(turn their head's) when you walk by!!!! But even so it is SO BEAUTIFULL, nothing is as BEAUTIFULL as beholding the BEAUTY of the LORD, the GUY who made all of it, and us, and the Star System on and on.
p.s. I can call HIM "the GUY", cause after all, HE did become a man, just like us. And HE want's us to be HIS FRIEND's, of which I took HIM UP ON!!!!!!! YOU can too!!! Later.............

In our earth-mentality, we are so caught up by rules of science and rules of reality that we probably can't even describe what heaven will be like using human language. It might be a completely different unexplainable reality. Its like trying to describe the color red to a blind man. No matter how many words you use, the blind man is not going to get the right picture of "red". The bottom line is that the God who created you definitely knows what will make you the happyfor eternity.

Well, your question should read what Paradise/Heaven or New Jerusalem will be like.

For Paradise is heaven's version of the Garden of Eden
This is temporary, only until the new Earth and new Heaven are made.

it will be a paradise like no other,probably more beautiful than the garden of eden.There won;t be need for sun/stars/moon to illuminate the new state of being because God & Jesus will be the light source for all.There won;t be churches/synagogues/mosques because we'll live with God and see HIM in His glory eye to eye.There will be a vast mount of knoledge you can learn, and it won;t never run out .You'll be able to appear anywhare in heaven at a blink of an eye just by thinking about the place,etc.

The bible tells of golden streets and a sea of crystal and mansions of silver and jewels..
I believe it's a place without pain, doubt, fear or anxiety. Our souls will go into the ethereal and be as close to God as our own consciousness allows. The closer to the creator one is the farther form this world and it's vices.

Its suppose to be all your happiest moments and loving family all rolled into one, a Paradise.
