First off, Love this question....
Second, you're too smart for your own good, Blobberty.
Third.... to answer.
Preaching the gospel and living it are two very different
things. The Church really is who said it; I'd think God
would want you to LIVE it, thus your life being the testament
of it. Doubt that's really the answer you are looking for, but
I think that is what keeps me one step up on the food chain
from dog poo.

The command is to preach the gospel to all nations (Matthew 28:19-20), to every creature (Mark 16:15-16). How this is to be done is left to us.
As a matter of expediency, we need to use every means - internet, television, radio, door-to-door - to do this.
I don't know how effective Yahoo! Answers is for this - most people I've run across like to curse and argue, rather than look at the issues. Nothing is more effective than face-to-face contact. The story is told of a boy who wrote a girl 365 love letters, and sent her one each day. At the end of the year, she married the mailman.

Absolutely. What better way to spread the Word on a global scale?
In Revelations chapter 11 the two witnesses, after doing same for 1260 days, will be killed and their bodies left in the street as the world looks on. How could this be accomplished except via television (CNN?).

I try always to preach the gospel in every aspect of my life. I try to follow the words of St. Francis....."preach always..when necessary use words" What I mean by this is that I try to preach by example, living the gospel message. I do answer questions out here on YA and I will state what my beliefs are in response to questions posed, but I am not preaching at anyone by quoting scripture and such. There are many people out here who believe differently and I try to respect all others beliefs and their points of view, but when my beliefs are different I say so. I try to conduct myself out here on YA with the same courtesy I try to use in everyday life. Living the gospel by deed and this I believe will preach louder than any words I could ever use.

You can't be in all places but you can take the word there
through different ways. The important thing is to get it out.
Some send missionaries. We can't all go so we give our
money to send the ones God called to go. What ever means
we use doesn't matter. If we reach one person that might
never have heard, or was not prepared to hear at that time.
Then isn't that the important thing?

I think the internet is a fabulous opportunity to reach many more people than we ever could do any other way.
But we need to be more careful than ever. We seriously need to remember Who it is we are representing here!!

we are told in scripture to preach the gospel to all nations. it does not mention in only certain instances. whenever we have the opportunity to preach his word(from scripture), then we should. the internet is just one of many ways.

I really don't think God cares if you type it, write it, speak it or shout it from the highest mountain. as Long as you tell the world about Jesus. How do you know that I am not cripple and can't leave my house.
