If you think he is bored when your talking about a certain subject then change it up. Talk about something that he likes or maybe sometimes you talk so much that there just isn't anything to talk about

Shoot find out what he likes to talk about and talk about those things or know what you are going to talk about before you get on the phone if he dosen't talk all the time.

his day... and if some thing knew got here up... you need to continuously prepare interest in the different human being u pick to communicate with because human beings like speaking about themselves... so if u pick to have a three hour communique... discuss them... n they're going to save speaking... finally they'll ask u questions and it is going to b neverending

That happened to me yesterday. what I just do i ask what did he do yesterdayand today. Then we strike up a conversation about that.
Or just ask questions about his family or what he use to do.
