It isn't God who is arrogant, it is people that think they can dictate to God how things should be. The Bible says God is love. You might want to think about that.

If you have been told that Heaven is for the bowing down to God,do you believe that?
Did you read that somewhere, what is the basis of your claim?
You don't know any more about it than I do,we both have the same evidence.
We have the same evidence, yet we have come to different conclusions.
God is worth bowing down to:yet, you lie and say that is all there is.
Anyone that can read the description of heaven in the Bible and conclude what you have,is a dope.
Heaven was made for people as much as it was for God and the angels.

You have a biological father, don't you? Your Father in Heaven is asking for NO MORE than He commanded of you for your earthly parents. He is a FATHER, a perfect Father at that. Unlike mortal men, God is above greed, manipulation, abuse---He is not out to hurt us. Indeed, having had an abusive childhood, where namely my father, liked to use me as a means to get drugs(a plan that never came to much fruition when i grew up) and as his personal 'dammit doll', I can honestly say that the heart of a man can rarely be trusted.
Mankind, unfortunately, is hampered by vice, always reaching for that crutch and immediate satisfaction. This is not to say, that all men are evil, even in their vices, but it's a weakness that God does NOT have for He is ABOVE IT!
And NO, it wasn't Him who put it here, it was something Man developed when Evil came into this world (which is another long story in itself).
If you are a parent, hopefully, you can put this in proper perspective. You are that child's whole world--they trust you implicitly, without question, no matter what---even the abused child will reach out for their mother or father, sad as this is, for I was such a child...
God is not arrogant--He simply wants from you what is naturally His to be given. Love. Respect. There is nothing to 'fear' or 'tremble' about, unless you've done something wrong---and when you have, you'll know it---but like any loving parent, He is always going to be there, even in times you fall.
Arrogance is a human emotion---not that our Father couldn't emit such a thing--it is simply beneath Him and not His purpose at all...
Read for yourself again, where He taught us how to live. But this time, do not read it with complete speculation, or as the words of a mortal man trying to dictate how others should live.
No man, in fact, has the right to say that his interpretation of the Word of God is, alone, the correct interpretation---like condemning people to hell---it's just not his place. Read what your Father truly wants of you, which is nothing complicated in the least---rather it is more than likely the very thing you've searched for....

God is not arrogant. God created us with a free will. This free will determines our fate. He does not want puppets in heaven, he wants you to come to him out of your own free will.
When you worship the Lord, you will feel a love that no man can give you here on earth, a love that is pure, unconditional. Why would someone want to through away such a love. In heaven there will be no more pain, sorrow, he will wipe away your tears.
To be in the presence of God would make you want to drop to your knees and worship because you are so overwhelmed with the presence of his glory and love. Give it a try, of your own free will. Your Choice. Your life.

Yes, it doesn't make much sense now does it?
Why would the creator of the universe require anyone or anything to bow down to him? You'd think that an omnipotent being would be above all that .
The fact is, there is no god. It is a lie designed to separate the gullible from thier money. Nothing more

He doesn't come off as arrogant. You are such an ignorant fool. You need to do more research before asking a question like this again.

Great question, Assuming of course if one believes in God. God does not come off as anything, it is rather those that define what God is and in turn "preach" what they perceive (their) God would want to hear or see. The arrogance or hypocrisy you may see first hand comes from people not God.

I think if you sense to understand God's Love for You as someone He created -- your question might be answered. Too often we look to 'Christians' as our example of Christianity...but the person you can look to is Christ. God's Son died so that we might live. He was strong yet humble, he was a leader by being a servant to those around him. Who would not want such a friend? :) Likely, we will all bow willingly in thanks to God for the Sacrifice of his son. God gives us the right to reject Him - he dos not force himself upon us. If you believe or not believe -- you do so voluntarily. Hope this helps.

That is why many are called but few are chosen. There are few that are willing to bow to God and give Him the praise and worship He deserves. We go to church to get the practice we will need when we get to heaven.

dont you think that the creator of everything is allowed to be arrogant? but no he is not arrogant God is almighty and omnipotent. he is all powerfull all the time he needs no one and nothing. but we were created for one reason and one purpose to worship Him because that is the one thing that He cannot give to himself. the bible says even the rocks and animals Praise his name not worship. we are the creation and in no position to question the almighty but He won't strike us down if we do so ask God and he will answer you

Well as you might know our soul has two faculties, intellect and will. We were created to use them, and that is where we will find our greatest joy. Now heaven is for eternity. If we were to use these faculties on something less than an eternal being, we would eventually know them through and through and love them accordingly. But if it were an eternal being, we could try to know Them as much as possible and still not fully grasp Him, thus we would love them accordingly. Our knowledge of Him would grow and grow and love for Him would ever increase and we still we would not grasp His awesomeness. That is heaven.
