This dog kind of has an owner but he's all skin and bone has rabies keeps getting in my yard to get to my dog and sometimes he'll climb the wooden fence into our yard and somehow get my dog out of the yard. Finally when we locked it all all night he's trying to get in my yard we've already told the owners to tie him up or make a fence for him and they said they would but they haven't and I'm looking for a pound that will come and get him because he always runs away when he sees us a pound near woodstock, GA 30189 and will this cost money?

This does NOT sound like rabies. It sounds like you can't keep your dog confined so blame the roaming dog. Just because a dog is thin and not confined doesn't mean it has rabies. In fact there is no way to test a live animal for rabies. If he's coordinated enough to climb a wooden fence he DOES NOT have rabies. If he always runs away it sounds like he's been chased and maybe shot at.

I don't think the dog has rabies. Usually the dog dies after about 10-15 days.

It sounds as if the dog is being seriously neglected, and needs medical attention.

Give them a call ASAP and explain your situation. They should be able to help you, or at least point you in the right direction.

Also, if you don't want to go that route, call animal control. I don't like most animal control because most dogs and cats that go through it get put down.
