well that does kind of present a problem... but if you believe in God than you would already be following Jesus... therefore, problem solved... you would have to believe in both and not just one or the other. So yes- all things are possible - if you believe and follow the teachings...

This is only my opinion, and everybody has one.
I believe that the Bible is the Word of God and God is the Word. God is with us. With God all things all things ARE possible. When the Bible says that the only way to the Father is through Jesus, it is saying you have to read what Jesus SAYS all through the Bible. Study it. Get A Strong's Concordance and study what the words in the Bible really mean. The translations are for the King James Version of the Bible. But the Strong's give you the Hebrew word definitions for the Old Testament and the Greek word definitions for the New Testament. You don't need people giving you what they think the Bible is saying, find out on your own. But I do think that everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and we are not to judge any person or religion because maybe we don't believe the way they do.

Not a contradiction at all. With God all things are possible - BUT - with man, all things are not possible including Salvation. This is why God bridged the gap by sending Jesus to restore what was lost through Adam.. a close connection with God.., a retrieval of our birthright to eternal life.

Look at these passages in their contexts:

Mark 10:27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
Context: the disciples were shocked that a rich man couldn't do anything he wanted. It wasn't possible for man to save himself, but it was (and is) possible for God to save him.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Context: God has given man a means to come to Him: Jesus. If people choose not to do so, there is no other way.

There is no conflict between these verses.

Context determines meaning.

With God all things are possible is in the context of 'can such a person be saved' while the other, Jesus is the only way to heaven, is in the context of how he does it.

Context will determine the meaning.

Father. Son. Holy Spirit. 3 in one. The triune. Therefore if you believe that then its not a contradiction. The only way to God is through God. If that makes sense. So when you look at the big picture since they are all one it is not a contradiction.
In other words, to get to God you must first go through God or a part of God, therefore you go through the Son to get to the Father. But it is still one part of him.

There was the contradiction between God's damnation on the species of mankind for all of eternity and the desire to retain fellowship with his beloved creation Adam & Eve.

So with the "Catch-22" of having death foisted on mankind, God created the only solution, - send a perfect man (Jesus) to die for the curse.

This is anything but a contradiction. How can it be contradictory when it was all God's plan? God made all this possible.

You are looking kind of frail, hope you are feeling alright. God bless you.

no. you're displaying it backwards.

The only way to God it through jesus, and with God all things are possible. So if you have jesus then you have access to God, and with him all things are possible.

To those who believe.

I believe there are 3 kinds of Bible readers. One reads the Bible to claim it contains contradictions. Another reads it to justify what they already believe. Still another reads it, tries to find harmony in it, and accordingly adjusts his beliefs and his way of life.

It appears you belong to the 1st group.
